I got this Tattoo after my twin brother died. He committed suicide after three tours in the Middle East with the US Army. I had his name badge tattooed right where I put my hand over my heart for the Pledge of Allegiance. Every pledge is a tribute to his service and sacrifice.

This hits so close to home. That boy was only 11 when he took his life. I can’t imagine losing my 11-year-old brother that way. It’s just so awful.
Too powerful not to reblog. Imagine an 11 year old child being so upset with themselves they take their own life.
